Because law insurance of carriers (air, ocean, rail and road) in most of the cases cannot cover full value of damaged goods, we recommend you to make insurance especially at ocean freight. There is a risk called “general average” when carrier in case of accident of the ship will charge you by his costs for extrication and removal of the ship.
